L'Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science a dévoilé, ce mardi 23 janvier, sa très attendue liste des nommé.e.s en vue de la prochaine cérémonie des Oscars, qui se déroulera dans environ sept semaines.
La lutte se fera cette année entre Oppenheimer de Christopher Nolan et Poor Things de Yorgos Lanthimos, qui récoltent respectivement 13 et 11 nominations.
Les deux longs métrages, grands gagnants de la plus récente cérémonie des Golden Globes, sont nommés dans pratiquement toutes les principales catégories, de Meilleur film à Meilleur scénario adapté, en passant par Meilleure réalisation et les catégories d'interprétation.
Sans surprise, Killers of the Flower Moon de Martin Scorsese suit avec 10 nominations, tandis que Barbie de Greta Gerwig est nommé à huit reprises.
Les autres films à surveiller cette année seront Maestro de Bradley Cooper (7 nominations), The Holdovers d'Alexander Payne (5 nominations) et Anatomie d'une chute de Justine Triet (5 nominations).
Notons également la nomination du long métrage canadien To Kill a Tiger de Nisha Pahuja, coproduit par l'ONF, dans la catégorie Meilleur documentaire.
Animée par Jimmy Kimmel, la 96e cérémonie des Oscars sera diffusée le 10 mars prochain, en direct du Dolby Theatre, à Hollywood.
