La 96e cérémonie des Oscars était diffusée ce dimanche 10 mars, et le moins que l'on puisse dire, c'est que les surprises n'ont pas été très abondantes cette année en ce qui a trait à la liste des vainqueurs.
Comme prévu, Oppenheimer de Christopher Nolan est reparti avec les grands honneurs, mettant la main sur sept statuettes sur une possibilité de treize, dont celles du Meilleur film, de la Meilleure réalisation, du Meilleur acteur (Cillian Murphy), du Meilleur acteur de soutien (Robert Downey Jr.), de la Meilleure direction photo et de la Meilleure bande originale.
L'hétéroclite Poor Things de Yorgos Lanthimos s'est également imposé en remportant quatre trophées sur une possibilité de onze, s'illustrant dans des catégories plus techniques. Emma Stone a aussi mis la main sur la statuette de la Meilleure actrice, devançant au fil d'arrivée Lily Gladstone et sa puissante performance dans Killers of the Flower Moon.
Malgré ses dix nominations, le plus récent (très) long métrage de Martin Scorsese est d'ailleurs reparti bredouille, tout comme le Maestro de Bradley Cooper.
Anatomie d'une chute de Justine Triet a de nouveau mis la main sur le prix du Meilleur scénario original, tandis que le percutant The Zone of Interest de Jonathan Glazer a raflé celui du Meilleur film international.
Et, comme aux Golden Globes, Barbie a dû se contenter une fois de plus du prix de la Meilleure chanson originale, remis à la pièce « What Was I Made For? » de Billie Eilish.
