Ce que nous savons sur le prochain Indiana Jones

Plus de 10 ans se sont écoulés depuis le dernier chapitre des aventures d'Indiana Jones dans Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Avec ce long métrage, Steven Spielberg en était à son quatrième films portant sur l'archéologue et aventurier.

Voilà maintenant qu'on apprend qu'un nouveau projet est en chantier. Voici les détails qui ont été confirmés jusqu'à présent :

1. Steven Spielberg sera à nouveau à la barre du projet.

2. Des rumeurs voulaient que Chris Pratt ou Bradley Cooper interprète le personnage principal, mais c'est bel et bien Harrison Ford qui reprendra son rôle culte d'Indiana Jones.

3. Le film sortira en salles le 9 juillet 2021, ce qui marquera les 40 ans de la franchise.

4. Jonathan Kasdan et David Koepp sont responsables de la scénarisation. Kasdan a en fait été appelé en renfort, car Koepp devait terminer un autre tournage.

5. John Williams composera à nouveau la musique de ce cinquième opus, faisant ainsi de cette collaboration la 29e entre lui et Spielberg.

6. John Rhys-Davies a exprimé le souhait de reprendre son rôle de Sallah.

7. Le personnage de Henry "Mutt" Walton Jones III, interprété par Shia LaBeouf, ne fera pas partie de ce chapitre.

8. Aucun détail n'a été divulgué concernant l'histoire du film, mais celui-ci va se passer durant les années 60.

9. Steven Spielberg a déclaré qu'Indiana Jones ne serait pas tué dans ce nouveau film.

10. Harrison Ford a déclaré : « If Nazis are back, I'm back. », mais en précisant que les Nazis n'étaient pas nécessairement le thème de cette nouvelle aventure.
